A Summer Storm

The Ocean

I can feel the warm gentle breeze blowing through my golden curly hair

The waves are crashing on the rocks

The warm sand beneath me the bright sun shining on me

Covered in oil my skin is glistening upon my golden tan

My blue eyes peek through my sunglasses

I look out in to the wide open blue water of the ocean

I sit in this serene moment and I come to understand

To understand the endless possibilities of life

I am going to go out and catch a wave

I am going to ride it out and see where it will take me

The Light

From the sky up above me a light shined upon me

A light so bright it almost blinded me

A light of love could it be

or a light of death coming to take me?

As I laid there and stared at it my eyes grew tired

I felt my self drifting away

In the back of my mind I was screaming

Please don't take me!

High Road

Who am I to say what is right or wrong?  All I can tell you is what I know from all the things that I have been through.  Life is not easy but you have to remember that you have the power to choose your path.  That decision is within you.  You can choose to be the so called "Bitch" or you can choose to take the high road.  Remember that you are in control, you are the one that gets to decide how you are going to act or react to every situation that may come your way.  You choose what you are going to say, no one has the power to make you say the things you say or do the things you do.  You are control of your self and you decisions.  What you can not control is how someone will react to you, but you choose how you will.  You have to choose to be the better person, the one who takes the high road.  In the end you will realize that you made the right choices, because in the end you end up happy.  The road to happiness has its ups, it downs, its twists and turns but in the end you have learned from it all.  What you realized from the journey is that sometimes in life making the right decisions, are really the hardest decisions that you will ever make.
